Il brano rappresenta un dialogo tra “un prima” e “un dopo”, un passaggio difficile ma necessario per l’evoluzione della persona. E’ a tutti gli effetti un viaggio reale e metaforico: dal Venezuela all’Italia; dallo spagnolo all’italiano; dalla gioventù all’età matura, l’inesperienza all’esperienza. Il brano nasce da una domanda: cosa direbbe il Cabruja di ieri se incontrasse il Cabruja di oggi? Sarebbe fiero di quello che le scelte e le circostanze hanno fatto delle loro vite? E’ anche una richiesta di compassione, fiducia e amore proprio.
